Looking at the physics objectives (or any science) there is little logical progression of key concepts from grade to grade or from one science discipline to the next. [e.g. Is there a knowledge progression from physical science concepts to physics knowledge? Do appropriate physics concepts precede biology? (Carbon dioxide is a gas that has weight, needed for photosynthesis concept) See progressions of concepts referred to in the ASTA Checklist for Reviewing the ACOS-Science, page 3, attached here on the "Resource Page."
